Is it Time To Fire the Govenment ?

In a working class job when someone fails to work up to expectations they get fired. Is it time to Fire the Government ? By the Government I mean the people responsible for making laws and regulations. All I have heard are false promises and bickering between the parties. Seems they don't know what to do without giving up some of their perks.

If the government had to do with the same perks the general populace did they would sing a different tune. Take away the millions of dollars spent on retirement pensions for a four year term and put them on Social Security. If Social Security is good enough for us why do the elected officials have a different pension plan. We have to work for forty years to get ours why do they have to just work a four or six year term ?

How about the medical plan they are stuffing down our throat. If we have to use it why don't they. If the government needs a hospital they can go to the Veterans hospitals or see a military doctor at a local base. The VA is good enough for our Veterans it should be good enough for the government.

In real life you have to earn a pay raise. So why can the government vote their own raises ? Pay raises for elected officals should be on a ballot. If the elected officials don't like it they can quit and find a real job where funding is not unlimited.

Instead of the members of a party being concerned about how the party wants them to vote on a matter the elected officials should be voting on what is best for the people that put them where they are. What happened to " By the People " and " For the People" ?

The government is spending too much of our hard earned money. Why should we pay for their bottled water ? If the municipal water system is good enough for us it is good enough for them. If they don't like the water they can buy their own. We do. How many of you have to go to meetings that drag on. The government has to do this daily but they get to have their affairs catered. Take that catering money and give it to food banks or shelters. The food banks are empty and the shelters are full, thanks to them. The elected officials receive a paycheck, let them buy their own lunch.

Every candidate wants to clean up the problems in this country. I think the clean up should start from the inside. Fire the government and start anew. Do away with foreign aid except for catastrophes to humanity. Let foreign governments fend for themselves. If foreign governments are having a hard time controlling their populace the government must be doing something wrong and should be replaced. We have our own problems and it is time to take care of our own.

Lock down the borders. Use the military to protect our land from foreign invaders. Right now the invaders are not using guns they are sapping our benefits and sucking up our resources. Like parasites they are attacking from the inside. If foreign immigrants want to work let them do it legally with work visas or citizenship and swear a " Pledge of Allegiance ".That is how every other nationality of immigrants came to this country. Right now illegal immigrants are trespassing. There is one flag for our country. If they want to be here they have to respect Our Flag not the one they left behind.

If the government wants to raise taxes let them raise the taxes on all imported products. That would increase the price to a comprable level of our products and increase purchases of American Products. With an increase of American products would be an increase of American jobs decreasing the unemployment rate. A decrease of unemployment would cause an increase in taxable income which could be used to pay off the national debt caused by elected officials thinking that the United States has an unlimited pocketbook.

At the beginning of the American Revolution with Great Britian do you think politicians were afraid to hurt England's feelings by dumping a bunch of tea overboard. I think not. So why are politicians afraid of hurting someone's feelings when someone's deeds are hurting us physically and financially ?

Get people into office that have a financial background. Preferably someone that had to work their way up and knows and cares about the value of a dollar. Someone that has saved dwindling companies. Someone that knows what it is to do without and had to work hard. Not someone that is concerned about their party, someone that is concerned about our country. It is time to Fire the Government and start anew.

This blog is my way of letting off steam, voicing my opinion and finding a way to get the incumbents out of office at the next election.
